For education week, all subjects have been suspended in English except for Language. This has been a stressful and overwhelming time for all and we think it's time for a little break. As always, any of the work shared is optional and not mandatory.

Language
This week in Language we are starting Narrative Writing. As with Math, new tasks will be added to the slide deck every week.
Task for May 4-8
This is what the students will see in their slide deck (shared through Hapara/their Google drive)
Your only task this week is to:
create your original main character ( no copying and pasting from internet - copyright and all that) You may create your character digitally using tech as long as it is original
draw and colour them (and upload a picture of it to your doc )
list all their attributes/anything about them (5-10 bullet points on your character)
You will write your narrative in a Google doc titled “Narrative”. Like the Daily Journal it will be a running doc. That way your story is all in one place! Please upload a picture of your character too! This part is important - you will see how in the upcoming weeks. You will all be using each others characters in your story!
When designing your character think about: Character’s History, backstory, weaknesses, strengths, desires, interests/dislikes, family, goals, physical features, emotions, passion, needs, outfit etc. You may also use the internet for drawing tips or videos to follow!
