Google Meet

We will no longer use Zoom and only Google Meet hangouts to check in as a class. I am scheduling these meetings every Tuesday and Friday at 3pm.

I will share the live link with students at 2:45 on those days for them to join the meeting. The meetings will be used to answer questions/check in and then the rest of the time I will read from Harry Potter. These meetings are optional and just meant to bring us together, give the kids a sense of normalcy and answer questions they may have.

Expectations: On Tuesdays+Fridays (except Good Friday) at 2:45, students click the link (found in the slide deck shared with them) to join the meeting. They are able to chat and talk to their peers to catch up during this time and promptly at 3pm are asked to mute themselves and leave themself muted unless instructed or asked otherwise by the teacher.

The chat/messenger is not to be used after 3pm as it is a distraction to the question/check in period.
