Daily Reflection Journal

Both myself and Mr. Graitson have created a slide deck that offers additional virtual learning opportunities for your children to do to help kill time and build a daily routine (again to your own discretion and what works for your family and household.). This is shared with all of the students and is called "Boredom Busters". There is more than enough ideas there, so please encourage your child to explore it when they're itching for something to do.

Everyday students are expected to explore the slide deck, choose something that will interest them and explore it/complete it. These links include a range of things to do including virtual tours of museums/aquariums etc. Students will be expected to spend 30mins a daily in self guided learning (whatever that looks like for them! That could be cooking, creating, reading, creative writing, building etc.) and will reflect and summarize their learning and their day in an online daily journal. The expectations of the daily journal are stated in the Google Doc I shared with each of them. Please review it with your child.

I have attached the link here where I got a lot of ideas for the kids. I have filtered out any that aren't age appropriate, but thought you might appreciate having a look through the resource - it's great for adults too. Wishing you all well and please please email me if you or the kids need anything and I will get back to you.
