This unit we are focusing on healthy eating and how to create healthy eating habits. This includes learning how to read food labels, understanding the difference between processed and unprocessed foods and the importance of including physical activity in your lifestyle. Students will also learn what it means to eat plant-based and explore factors that influence food habits and body shape (i.e. genes, culture, media, peers, allergies and personal preferences etc.).
